I was only in the Hague for a few hours. We went there to meet with people at Eurojust and the ICC. I was very excited for these two institutions in particular because I hope to one day work in Human Rights.
I also ate dinner in the Hague, at a little Dutch restaurant a few blocks away.
So my Dutch is not good. And by not good I mean I only know probably 5 words. Which is a shame because part of my family is Dutch so I should really try to learn it. Anyway we went to a restaurant and the only word I knew was Pannekoeken. It is a Dutch pancake and it is like a crepe. This one is filled with apples and cinnamon. YUM YUM. Delicious dinner.
