As you probably know by now I kind of have this obsession with Jane Austen. I also like etiquette and books instructing one on how to be prim and proper. I am not a snob, I promise!
It is hard to comment on a book like this because it is not as though there are characters and plot twists. It is basically etiquette rules for engaging in social interactions and such. So if you do not like these types of books you may not find this interesting.
I like them because I think they are fun books. What I really liked about this one is that Lori Smith incorporated examples from Jane Austen's work when giving lessons on proper decorum.
I thought it was well written and not a dry read. Also props to the book being so pretty. I love the jacket and the book itself, it is a nice classic design that adds to the content of the book.
Happy Reading!Labels: Book Review, Jane Austen
