I had visited Versailles during my first trip to France in 2010. I just toured the main palace and some of the gardens. The tour of the palace was an optional tour so instead I decided that while the rest of the group was in the main palace I would get a ticket for Petite Trianon and the Gardens since I did not get to see it last time. Marie Antoinette is one of my favourite queens and so I really wanted to see her little sanctuary out in the gardens. It was a really beautiful day and the walk was very nice, even if I did get lost on the way back to the palace.
It is time to bid adieu to France for now. I hope I will get the chance to visit it again one day!
